2601AG2 reversing drum switches are designed to start and reverse motors by connecting them directly across the line. The devices can be used with squirrel cage and single-phase motors designed for reversing service. Can be used with AC or DC motors. Drum switches are field convertible from maintained to momentary operation. A variety of enclosures are available. This device has a NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure. Drum switches are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.

Reversing Drum Switch is a switch for controlling electric motors. It is used to control the direction of rotation of electric motors. This switch can be set to move the motor forward or reverse.
Rotating drum switches are primarily used in high voltage or high current motor systems and are found in industrial machinery or equipment. It is used in situations where the direction of rotation of the motor must be controlled.
The rotary drum switch provides functions such as forward, backward and stop to control the movement of the motor and change the direction of rotation.
