Description
The TA8680BN is an integrated circuit in a 54-pin shrink DIP package that includes a PIF circuit, SIF circuit, video, chroma, deflection circuit, AV SW (1ch), and on-screen interface on one chip. The deflection circuit controls the horizontal and vertical scanning of the electron beam in the CRT (cathode ray tube) or the display panel of the television set. It generates the necessary signals to move the electron beam across the screen, creating the visual image.
