Description

The GP2A22 OPIC photointerrupter has a small size and high sensitivity and is used in a variety of applications. It is mainly used in printers, copiers, switches, robots, and automobiles. It detects the movement, position, and rotation of objects and transmits signals to electronic circuits or systems.

The operating principle of the OPIC photointerrupter is as follows. The photointerrupter consists of a light transmitter and a light detector for object detection. When an object passes between the light transmitter and the light detector, the light beam is blocked and the output of the light detector changes. This allows you to detect the presence or movement of an object.
