Description

The Device is a monolithic audio power amplifier integrated circuit. The TDA2003 has improved performance with the same pin configuration as the TDA2002. The additional features of TDA2002, very low number of external components, ease of assembly, space and cost saving, are maintained.

The device provides a high output current capability (up to 3.5A) very low harmonic and cross-over
distortion. Completely safe operation is guaranteed due to protection against DC and AC short circuit between all pins and ground, thermal over-range, load dump voltage surge up to 40V and fortuitous open ground.

Description:

A single-channel Class-F audio power amplifier is a type of amplifier that is designed to efficiently amplify audio signals with high power output using Class-F amplification topology. Class-F amplifiers are known for their high efficiency and are commonly used in applications where power efficiency is a priority, such as in radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers.

Class-F amplifiers are an extension of Class-D amplifiers, which use pulse-width modulation (PWM) to achieve high efficiency. However, Class-F amplifiers incorporate additional harmonic manipulation techniques to further improve efficiency.

In a Class-F amplifier, the output stage is designed to shape the current waveform and minimize power dissipation.
